Tariq Anam Khan, is an award-winning actor, director and producer in Bangladesh. He has been working in the Film, Television, and Theatre for more than 4 decades and is considered a living legend in Bangladesh. He graduated from the National School of Drama (NSD) in 1979, Tariq has established himself as a prominent figure in the country and is considered a household name.
In 1988, Tariq Anam Khan founded Adshop which became one of the leading advertising production companies in Bangladesh. Through Adshop, he directed and produced more than 500 TVCs and has also acted in innumerable tv shows, series and telefilms over the last 40 years.
Mr. Khan has won several awards in his lifetime, most notably winning 2 National Film Awards for Acting in 2014 and 2019. In 2014, Mr. Khan worked as Production Supervisor in the Hollywood blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron which was the first such film shot in Bangladesh. He has also gone on to supervise other big productions such as Extraction, as well as organising location scouts for Blade Runner 2049 and Extraction 2.
Ariq Anam Khan, is a versatile writer, director, and producer from Bangladesh. Born into a culturally renowned family in Dhaka, he has been working in Bangladesh theatre, film and television industry since 2008. Ariq has also worked as a location manager and scout in several international productions shot in Bangladesh (incl. Avengers: Age of Ultron and Extraction).
He was accepted into the MA Filmmaking programme at the London Film School in 2017 where he completed his degree with distinction. In 2020, Ariq Anam Khan wrote and directed "Transit" which has premiered at festivals such as Busan, Clermont-Ferrand, and more. Ariq is also an alumni of Global Media Makers (GMM) since 2022.
Ariq is also the co-founder of Forecast Films in addition to being Producer for Shoot Fix BD.
